We greatly appreciate everything that citizens like YOU have done, and are doing, to protect innocent human life and save babies from abortion. It’s because of your heartfelt prayers, committed support, and hard work that progress is being made toward protecting unborn children from the tragedy of abortion. Although there are many organizations working for the day when no abortions are ever performed again in America, Life & Liberty PAC is leading the effort to educate our pro-life community to the legislative war being waged against the unborn, to elect pro-life candidates and defeat pro-abortion politicians.
That is why we launched the Pro-Life Campaign. If we are to secure our liberty, protect our nation, and provide for our posterity, we must uphold the God-given, unalienable right to life above all else. And the most effective way to do that is to stop pro-death bills from advancing in our houses of legislature, prevent pro-abortion candidates from achieving high state and national office, and elect solid pro-life representatives to Congress and the White House. We oppose violence or illegal activity of any kind. We encourage citizens to oppose abortion through peaceful and lawful means only, because we believe that only by changing peoples’ hearts, through education, prayer and political action, can abortion be ended.

Right now, through the Pro-Life Campaign, we are URGENTLY trying to reach every pro-life household in America with an important message about President Barack Obama’s proposed Healthcare Plan, which includes:
- Mandated taxpayer funded abortion without restrictions
- The forcing of pro-life Doctors and Nurses to perform government paid abortions
- Rationing of essential medical treatment that will target the elderly, unborn and families’ like yours
- A trillion dollars in new debt that will strangle our country’s financial future
Obama is a strong supporter of abortion-on-demand, has a record that includes extremist support for taxpayer funding of abortion, and a long history of opposing any ban on abortion procedures – including protections for minor and parental notification laws, infants-born-alive, partial-birth abortions. But, Obama has successfully downplayed the intolerable extremism of his pro-abortion record.
Now he is proposing to nationalize the American health care system, and all the legislation in play includes taxpayer funding for abortion, and provisions that will inevitably lead to rationing of care and eugenics and euthanasia policies being enacted.
We need to reach pro-life voters with this vital information, and we can’t do it without your help. The public must be warned about the pro-abortion radicalism of ObamaCare. The truth about these proposals and indeed, about Obama’s execrable record on the life issue will NOT be widely known unless we stand up and get it done. As you have seen on our Home Page, we subscribe to the wisdom and statesmanship of President Ronald Reagan on the Life Issue, as he so conscientiously limned in his essay “Abortion and The Conscience of the Nation.”
No GOP/RINO Sell-Out on ObamaCare
America is at a crossroads. Will Washington DC ignore the clearly expressed will of the people, and force socialized medicine down this nation’s throat? Despite the broad rejection of ObamaCare resoundingly demonstrated at recent rallies and congressional Town Halls by a vast majority of voters, which is also reflected in all the recent public opinion polls, Congress is still perversely threatening to nationalize medical care in America.
If you believe that you should be able to make your own health care decisions... choose your own insurance coverage… enjoy access, quality and affordability in your medical care... then you must join your fellow Americans who are making their voices heard -- and take action HERE AND NOW.
To be sure, our grassroots rebellion has the Democrat proponents of socialized medicine on the defensive, for now. But to ensure that the Republican Party does not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, there are congressional members who MUST be targeted to hear from you TODAY. Right now, the so-called “Gang of Six,” members of both parties from the Senate Finance Committee, is still working on its version of an “acceptable compromise” on “health care reform” that if advanced, will inevitably bring us socialized medicine, with a rapidly enforced nationalized health care system.
Those six members are committee chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.), ranking Republican Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Republican Sens. Mike Enzi (Wyo.) and Olympia Snowe (Maine) and Democrat Sens. Jeff Bingaman (N.M.) and Kent Conrad (N.D.). They need to hear from YOU, NOW, that ObamaCare is DOA!
If they don’t, the three Republican Senators (Charles Grassley, Mike Enzi and Olympia Snowe) will, as they have in the past, effectively collude with the Democrats to force through a bill that NO ONE wants! And cheering them on is the GOP compromiser-in-chief, Senator John McCain!
Make no mistake, there is NO scheme these RINOs will devise that won’t hand over to Barack Obama and proponents of socialized ObamaCare everything they want... a fast-track path to nationalized medicine for everyone in the country but themselves... “public options” leading inexorably to single-payer… lack of choice... lack of quality care... rationing of services… death counseling… taxpayer-funded abortion on demand and a whole host of other evils.
We The People have spoken loud and clear that we want MORE market competition in insurance and medical services provision, plus tort reform –- and LESS government intrusion. We have REJECTED socialized ObamaCare in every form and fashion it has been thrown at us. But in Washington DC it is still far from dead.
In fact, foolish RINO ambitions for "compromise legislation" are keeping ObamaCare alive right now, because Grassley, Enzi and Snowe are still playing political power games with the Democrat leadership.
Without "compromise" ObamaCare would be dead on arrival. Take the possibility of "compromise" off the table and ObamaCare would simply whimper off the political scene, and perhaps, down the road, some decent market reforms of government regulation in the health care industries could be rationally debated and enacted. Not now.
For now, the “Gang of Six” so far is operating independently –- simply as senators with no formal GOP instructions or limitations -- and should they strike a deal with their Democrat colleagues from the Finance Committee, the rest of the Republican conference are not bound by it.
But deal-making, unprincipled RINOs are the ones who have run the GOP into the ground and out of the congressional majority. If the single-payer socialists make the most noise, guess where the RINOs will wind up? They MUST hear from you, LOUD AND CLEAR –- NO COMPROMISE, NO OBAMACARE!
We’re Winning Now; SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
Earlier this summer, Democrats in the Senate simply did not have the 60 votes needed to stop debate (break a filibuster) and pass the versions of ObamaCare that have come out of the House of Representatives. After the ferocity of the Town Hall rebellions, it is highly unlikely that they will be able to obtain those votes unless the GOP foolishly gives them political cover with “bipartisan” compromises.
Liberals in Congress know the public is dead-set against ObamaCare. And while they have threatened to invoke a procedural maneuver called "reconciliation" that would allow them to pass ObamaCare with a simple 51 vote majority unless the GOP compromises, they know that playing still more “Chicago-style” politics than they already have on this legislation would be electoral suicide in next year’s congressional cycle. So the big push is on again for “compromise.”
And the problem is, a recent poll commissioned by AARP -- a big booster of ObamaCare -- shows that 76% of Americans would likely support a bill if they believe that Democrats are working with Republicans "to pass health care reform legislation."
The AARP poll confirms what die-hard proponents of ObamaCare have known all along... that the only way they will be able to pass ObamaCare is by convincing the public they are working with Republicans, and the resulting bill will be a “bipartisan” effort that should keep America safe from socialized medicine.
The RINOs Grassley and Enzi and Snowe are giving the leftist “health care” radicals exactly the kind of political cover they need to achieve their scheme of nationaling ONE SIXTH of America’s GNP, while granting the federal government control to decide who is worthy to receive health care, and who should just “die for the good of the federal budget”!
Why do Grassley and Enzi and Snowe feel somehow compelled to keep ObamaCare alive? Do they believe the American people actually want ObamaCare? If that's the reason (or the excuse), we need you to join with us RIGHT NOW and relieve them of their confusion.
Whatever they are up to, our course of action is clear. We must demand that Grassley and Enzi and Snowe walk away from the table and stand with We the American People – NO COMPROMISE, NO OBAMACARE!
We Have Seen This Stubborn Arrogance Before!
“Bipartisan” sell-outs are all the rage, especially in the U.S. Senate. Remember when our elected officials tried to ram amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens down the throats of the American people, in a half-dozen different “compromise” bills that all would have produced the same disastrous “amnesty” result?
Do you remember how, over and over again, We the American People, in overwhelming numbers of Republicans, Democrats and Independents, told our elected officials “NO WAY!”?
Of course, in that fight the American people took persistent and decisive action... we called... we faxed... and together we finally defeated ALL those bogus “comprehensive immigration reform” bills. Remember, thanks to John McCain, Lindsay Graham and other RINOs, these were all packaged as “bipartisan” NOT-amnesty compromises.

But What About All Their Tough Talk?
You might be saying, wait a minute, I heard that Grassley and Enzi and Snowe were backing away... talking tough....
But if their tough words mean anything, why are they still at the table... why are still negotiating with the opposition?
Consider this commentary from the liberal Washington Post.
"As the senior Republican on the Finance Committee, Grassley has the potential to attract GOP votes by giving his blessing to a bill.... In recent days, however, some Democrats have accused Grassley of trying to undermine the reform effort, forexample by refusing to debunk rumors that the Democratic health bills would create 'death panels' empowered to decide whether the infirm live or die."
The Post goes on to state that Grassley "denied those claims and fired back at Obama."
Grassley DID NOT fire back by showing how the Democrat legislation would, in fact, empower the government to make decisions in regards to who lives and who dies!
According to the Post, Grassley simply "questioned" Obama's willingness to pass a "bipartisan bill." Classic RINO maneuvering.
Grassley, and all the GOP Senate, should be standing on the truth: The legislation that came out of the Pelosi-led House WILL lead to the advancement of the culture of death... it will encourage rationing and vast government control which will usurp the judgment of doctors and the choices of patients, even to the extreme of actually deciding who is worthy of live-saving treatment and who is to have care withheld, even to the extent of hastening death!
MAKE SURE that Grassley and Enzi and Snowe know that the only way they can convince the American people that they are indeed talking tough is by refusing to compromise on our health care, and walking away from the negotiating table!
The Rest of the Threat
The Obama Administration keeps signaling it is willing to "compromise" by dropping the "public-option" from ObamaCare and allow a so-called "not-for-profit co-op" to take its place. Won’t that give us some safe “reform”?
Nope! As Connie Hair with Human Events put it:
"They are merely changing terminology yet again in their attempt to cloak their plans for a government takeover of health care. A skunk by any other name is just as stinky." Obama and everyone in his faction are on the public record as hell-bent for a nationalized, government-run “single-payer” system.
Political pundit Dick Morris concurred with that analysis:
"The fundamental equation that means worse and worse medical care for our seniors remains exactly as it was.... The result will be precisely the same whether or not there is a public option -- massive rationing of medical services to the elderly."
So what's the difference between “single-payer system,” "Public-Option,” and a "Co-Op?" Effectively, nothing but having to take a bit more time to implement and (de)volve the system to a nationalized, government-run monolith.
These, and other proposed "compromises" are just time-honored, “lie and lead” Saul Alinsky strategy, where nothing has changed but terminology.
Clearly, the Obama faction and the statists running the Democrat Party are relentless. Connie Hair concludes they intend "control of every health care dollar spent in this country" and they "consider the co-op merely a name change" to achieve the socialist objective of federal government “single-payer.”
If that has to be got at incrementally, through stages of so-called “co-ops and “public options” that’s OK. Even prominent Democrats, Obama included, have admitted as much in the past. Human Events and others have been archiving their statements for the record:

“We’re going to have some type of public option, call it ‘co-op,’ call it what you want.” - Senate Majority Leader Reid, July 10, Washington Post

“It will have, coming out of the House, a public option. The only debate on that is what it will be called.” - Speaker Pelosi, July 13, Reuters
“The [co-op has] to be written in a way that accomplishes the objectives of a public option.” - Sen. Max Baucus, June 12, Politico
Abortion and Euthanasia under ObamaCare
Why is this battle so critical? It is not only the untenable expense, in the billions of taxpayer dollars added to mounting trillions of federal debt. It is about the violations of trust with We The People, the trampling of our God-given rights, and the abandonment of the founding principles of our nation by OUR Representatives in what is supposed to be OUR government of, by and for The People.
This includes most critically assaults upon the right to life. H.R. 3200 is deliberately written in such loose language that proponents can claim critics are lying about its terms, when all critics are doing is reading the bill’s provisions as the bill will empower government to act. For example, when proponents claim abortion funding isn’t in the bill, it is technically correct that abortion funding and services are not explicitly enumerated. But because there is likewise no explicit prohibition of federal funding for abortion – which was introduced by amendment and voted down repeatedly by the Democrat House majority -- it’s perfectly correct to say that ObamaCare will provide, via its government-funded insurance, unrestricted, taxpayer-subsidized abortions.
The liberal Washington Post has confirmed as false two statements in recent White House video and AARP emails, which denied claims of eugenics and euthanasia policies, as well as mandated taxpayer payment for abortion, which are slyly embedded in the ObamaCare “health bill” HR 3200.
An editorial by respected bioethicist and Washington Post Editorial Board member Charles Lane entitled, "Undue Influence: The House Bill Skews End-of-Life Counsel," blasts the false claims by AARP and the White House spin-doctors that HR 3200 does not push euthanasia onto vulnerable seniors, the disabled, and the chronically or terminally ill.
Lane’s scathing editorial in the Washington Post confirms that euthanasia in principle and practice IS initiated by the government in the bill:
"Consultations envisioned in Section 1233 aren't quite 'purely voluntary.' To me, 'purely voluntary' means 'not unless the patient requests one.' Section 1233, however, lets doctors initiate the chat and gives them an incentive -- money -- to do so. Indeed, that's an incentive to insist. Patients may refuse without penalty, but many will bow to white-coated authority. Once they're in the meeting, the bill does permit 'formulation' of a plug-pulling order right then and there."
Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel has stronger words. "AARP is lying. See pages 424, 425 and 426 of HR 3200. The government 'consultation' that seniors 'shall' get if they have 'not had such a consultation within the last 5 years' is clearly designed to encourage them to get out of the way and to just go ahead and die already."
Make no mistake. You MUST act NOW. HR 3200 is a 1,000-plus page monstrosity -- a malignant, socialist government takeover of your hospital, doctors, and health care choices for you, your children, and your parents and grandparents. It WILL pass in some phony “compromise” version if we do not unite to crush it once and for all.
Don’t We Need Reform?
There are MANY great, all-American market reforms being considered and discussed by everyone in health care and around the country –- except the corrupt politicians in Washington DC! Here’s just one blog posting we’ve seen from Joe Citizen:
“Tort reform: frivolous suits, plaintiff's lawyer pays all court costs including defendant's legal fees - malpractice insurance, a physician's biggest expense (in excess of $200k per year) would diminish over night thus reducing the cost of office visits and procedures.
Allow the purchase of insurance across state lines -- same as auto or life policies would increase competition without reducing the quality of care -- as we learned through cable TV deregulation, competition lowers costs.
Allow pooling of small business and individuals to purchase policies with economy of scale -- large pools yield large discounts -- free market means freely open to negotiate your own policy.
100% tax deduction for those who purchase health insurance -- eliminates the employer mandates without altering coverage or the incentive to purchase.
100% tax shielded health savings accounts that may be passed to the next generation TAX FREE!
Simple, straight forward and designed to empower the citizenry.
But we all know this has little to do with "fixing" anything. This is about a socialist/communist power grab plain and simple.Allow 'medicaid' to cover catastrophic care for those who cannot afford insurance.
Flush out waste, abuse and corruption of both medicare and medicaide with a "civilian" panel of inspector generals that may summon a grand jury to prosecute corrupt officials and bureaucrats.
Not rocket science - just plain old common sense...”
