Why Contribute
We Americans are at our best when we act generously together to conserve the precious things that are worth living and dying for. In fact, our leaders used to understand that these noble causes are what politics is all about. Today, they all too often are interested only in how they can exploit the state of our nation for personal victory in the next election, or to advance ideologies that are alien to our national interest, contrary to our founding principles, undermining of our institutions and inimical to liberty.
We ask you to join Life & Liberty PAC in standing up to defend the liberty and moral heart that we must have in order to deserve to be called Americans.
We must defend innocent human life. Respect for the God-given dignity of each of us is the bedrock upon which rests all hope and prayer for the possibility of responsible self-government.
We must defend our economic liberty, without which the dignity of each and every citizen can never be made secure. We must insist on keeping the fruit of our labors so we can have the material means necessary to be good parents, spouses, and citizens.
We must end tyrannical government intrusion, control and coercion -- roll back unconstitutional and tyrannical taxation and government meddling and over-regulation in the economic affairs of the industrious and decent people of America, because the people of this great nation have serious and important work to do, and it is wrong for the government to take from us the means we need to do it.
We must restore the social and political liberty of Americans so that in education, charitable work, campaign finance, and all of the other aspects of our common civilian life, we begin to remember how a free people behaves - and how it keeps eternal vigilance, lest its government become too ambitious.
We must rebuild our capacity for national security and defense. As we do so, we must insist that our government treat the deepest moral concerns of our heart with the importance they deserve. Abortion, race politics and gender preferences are assaults on the most common and obvious truths about how we must live together. All these evils we must stand charitably, but firmly against.
