On June 12, the Obama-FCC decree to regulate Internet broadband traffic – complete with NEW TAXES! – PRETENDING to ensure "fair" access and Internet speed will go into effect. Federal Communications Commissioner Ajit Pai is saying LOUDLY that the Democrat-decided regulation could pave the way for Fed regulators to come after AND SHUT DOWN the likes of Fox News… and Drudge Report.

Pai warns: "It is conceivable to me to see the government saying, 'We think the Drudge Report is having a disproportionate effect on our political discourse… and we want to start tamping down on websites like that.'"

You see, Obama-appointed FEC Chairwoman Ann Ravel wants to take the new Obama doctrine restrictions well beyond "news" sites. She and other Obama acolytes intends to see to it your Facebook posts, your YouTube videos, your Twitter tweets blogs, chat room comments – EVERYTHING – is subject to re-classification as "political speech" and subject to "FAIRNESS" REGULATIONS and RESTRICTIONS.

For example, every pro-life online activity or comment will have to be "balanced" with a pro-abortion pitch. Share a video or a link to a pro-life candidate and you might as well start your own PAC officially, because YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING PAPERWORK and defending an all-out INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY with "20 QUESTIONS" coming from the gotcha-FEC and the IRS! Indeed, the free speech consequences go so far as FINES and JAIL – just for speaking your mind!

"The Fairness Doctrine holds the potential to chill free speech and the free flow of ideas and was properly abandoned over two decades ago," FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said back in 2011 when the inherently un-American rule was FINALLY, officially nixed decades AFTER Ronald Reagan's veto. "I am pleased we are removing these and other obsolete rules from our books."

It marked a decided victory for free speech that has since allowed powerful, conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh, and like Phyllis Schlafly to gain America's attention.

When Reid's big push for SJR 19 was in full swing, the maneuver was notably summarized by the Wall Street Journal:

"The larger story here is how far the American left is willing to go to cripple their political opponents. They're even willing to write a giant loophole into America's founding charter so Congress can limit political speech. The Tea Party's concerns about eroding liberty turn out to be more accurate than even its most devoted partisans imagined."

This applies just as well to Obama's NEW FEC endeavors.

As the old saying goes, "Where there's a will, there's a way…" When it comes to undermining and attacking our protections of free speech, ONLY CONGRESS CAN MAKE SURE THERE IS NEITHER!
